I was a bit wary of assembling my purchase by myself; however, after a false start and only a couple of body contortions, I was able to assemble the bike by myself with the tools provided. The bike is sturdy, quiet and doesn't take up a lot of space in my apartment. The reason I didn't rate this product 5 stars is because of the absence of clearly written directions and the fact that I would have a serious complaint if I were shorter (I'm 5'3") since I probably wouldn't be able to reach the pedals-I have the seat pushed as far forward as the base allows and still would like to push the seat closer. It would be better if it was able to be adjusted for below average height females. I don't have the tools necessary to drill holes in the metal base and would worry about the stability of the base if I had to do that, anyway. Depite these small issues, I would recommend this bike as worth the price. Get more detail about Marcy Recumbent Mag Cycle.
