We picked this up for half off at Academy. My 6 and 8 year old put it together, because they were excited...clueless
We started using it right away in front of the tv. I can feel the pain already. We do 60 at a time right now, and will work up to more reps and more frequency. My husband is 285 lbs., he has no problem on it. He found it at the hospital he works at, the nurses jump on it between patients. It is used most of the day, daily. No problem with it.
